Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Training & Development Specialist to lead the design, development, and delivery of employee learning initiatives that support business growth across our domestic and international offices. This role is based on-site in The Woodlands, Texas, and plays a critical role in driving employee engagement, accelerating new hire success, improving sales and operational performance, and strengthening retention through impactful learning experiences.


The ideal candidate is an experienced training facilitator and instructional designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This individual will create and administer comprehensive training programs delivered through instructor-led workshops, virtual classrooms, e-learning platforms, coaching sessions, and blended learning solutions. The role also requires international travel (~30 to 40%) to support offices across multiple countries and time zones, ensuring consistency in learning experiences while adapting content to local business needs.


Responsibilities & Essential Duties


Learning & Development

  • Design, develop, implement, and continuously improve learning and development programs that align with organizational objectives.
  • Deliver engaging instructor-led training in classroom, workshop, virtual, and one-on-one coaching environments.
  • Create scalable learning solutions using multiple delivery methods, including e-learning, webinars, self-paced modules, and blended learning.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics, learner feedback, and business outcomes.
  • Maintain learning materials and ensure training content remains current, relevant, and aligned with organizational priorities.


New Hire Onboarding & Orientation

  • Develop and facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs that accelerate employee productivity and engagement.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure new employees receive a consistent and impactful onboarding experience across all locations.
  • Create onboarding resources that reinforce company culture, operational excellence, and performance expectations.


Performance & Business Development

  • Design training initiatives that strengthen:

HR Partnership

  • Partner with the Human Resources Director and business leaders to identify organizational development opportunities.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives through learning programs that reinforce company values and culture.
  • Contribute to organizational change management efforts through effective communication and training.


Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills)


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Corporate Training, Human Resources, or Organizational Development.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training for sales, recruiting, staffing, or professional services organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Experience delivering training through classroom instruction, virtual facilitation, workshops, and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels.
  • Experience measuring training effectiveness through performance metrics and business outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as business needs require.


Preferred

  • Experience within the staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions industry.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CPTD, ATD, or comparable learning and development credentials.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-location organizations.
