Experienced or Senior Project Management and Learning Development Specialist

The Boeing Company is actively seeking a Project Management and Learning Development Specialist to serve as a key contributor within the Safety Management Systems (SMS) Promotion team, supporting the coordination and execution of safety initiatives that foster a Positive Safety Culture across the Enterprise. The selected candidate will be able to choose to work onsite in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including, Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Project Management Specialist.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Leads planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of safety-related projects and initiatives, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital platforms, dashboards, and communication channels to support the Safety Experience and Promotion team.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute training materials, promotional content, and digital assets to support ongoing safety education and awareness efforts.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to provide insights and recommendations that enhance safety programs and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to support project planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, communications, and feedback collection to ensure alignment and effective information flow among stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and initiatives assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Safety Experience and Promotion team.
  • Supports the management of SMS training requirements. Including development and procurement as necessary.
  • Builds relationships to gain support and commitment from others, promote ideas with enthusiasm, conviction, and assertiveness.
  • Facilitates recurring meetings, technical exchanges and reviews.
  • Communicates plans and strategies with senior/executive leadership.
  • Drives results using appropriate processes, tools, schedules, metrics, and data analytics.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Level 3: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • 3+ years supporting cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience identifying and communicating business requirements with cross-functional and/or cross-business teams
  • 3+ years of experience do you have leading teams and/or leading initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience do you have working directly with executives or senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience creating workforce development and/or Learning and Development strategies and programs that deliver measurable results
  • Experience with Instructional Design methodologies
  • Experience in End-To-End Project/Program Management, Communication with senior leaders, and facilitation of workshops, etc
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite
  • Experience in data analysis, trending, and reporting
  • Experience using project management software or another portfolio management tool
