Learning and Development Manager 2, US Radiology 

The Learning Consultant will oversee the development and deployment of learning strategies, content and application tools for new hires and tenured customer-facing representatives across North America, in close collaboration with the Product Squads and Customer AGMs. He / she will be responsible to develop and deliver a comprehensive strategic training plan and learning journey for Customer Squads overall and individually according to role and customer need; he / she will design, facilitate and measure knowledge and will be accountable for the results of the training plan.

The Learning and Development Manager 2, US Radiology will architect the evolution of training strategy and deployment to support our business transformation toward elevated co-creation and joint solution development, new data, software and consultancy-oriented solutions, and increased focused on segmented offerings. In close collaboration with the Dynamic Squad Lead and the Customer AGMs, he / she will also oversee the continued deployment and consistent application of the Competency Model to relevant stakeholders within the Customer Squads.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Learning and Development Manager 2, US Radiology, are to:

  • Operating in a lead capacity, and mentoring/coaching other members of the organization
  • Developing and delivering comprehensive strategic training plan and learning journeys for the Customer Squads, inclusive of training for new hires and tenured customer-facing representatives and considering overall business and portfolio knowledge, specialized competencies and skillsets by role and the dynamics of on-the-job training and coaching
  • Architect the evolution of training strategy and deployment to support our business transformation toward elevated co-creation and joint solution development, new data, software and consultancy-oriented solutions, and increased focused on segmented offerings
  • Driving the continued deployment and consistent application of the Competency Model to relevant stakeholders within the Customer Squads.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the instructional design, development and delivery of training, utilizing adult learning principles and blended learning approach
  • Designing, facilitating and measuring knowledge and competencies for deployed training, and shared accountability for results of training plans and learning journeys
  • Providing recommendations to existing training curriculum to include specific, measurable learning objectives and outcomes
  • Leading program curriculum and development for launch products and pilot programs, considering marketing strategy, positioning and messaging, in partnership with Product Squads
  • Coach individual customer-facing Squad members on areas for improvement / development in customer presentation, value proposition articulation and similar skills
  • Conducting field rides to observe customer-facing Squad members and collaborate with Squad AGMs to activate insights in training deployment and develop competencies

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in business, marketing, or relevant discipline with applicable adult learning / sales training experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Bayer’s Radiology business with strong knowledge of Bayer’s medical device, software, contrast media and service portfolio, and strong understanding of Bayer’s Solution Provider ambition and related strategies tied to consulting, professional service and data-oriented business models, offering a higher level of expertise within the team setting;
  • Effective coaching skills, with not shying away from difficult conversations with building this capability within team members;
  • Subject Matter Expert in understanding of clinical workflow and Radiology ecosystem required;
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet short timeframes;
  • Strong Leadership, financial competencies and business acumen;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; good interpersonal skills;
  • Good analytical, product promotion, customer relationship management skills
  • Strong project management experience, ability to prioritize effectively and drive flawless execution;
  • Strong competency in customer focus and drive for results;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching individuals to enhance their skills and competencies.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 8+ years of sales, strategic account management or customer relationship management skills preferred;
  • Strong understanding of Bayer’s Strategic Account Management competency model preferred.

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $125,000 to $187,500. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
