IT Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager supports projects of various sizes, complexity, and duration. Works with various teams to ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define the scope of the projects in collaboration with senior project managers.
  • Drive AI-first modernizationusing Signet's AI platforms and foundations
  • Create, monitor, analyze, and report on tech modernization metrics while recommending improvements or course corrections
  • Ensure our Assets (CMDB) system remains up-to-date and accurately reflects the Signet portfolio of applications and infrastructure
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.
  • Review the project schedule with senior project managers and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
    Prepare meeting materials, outlines, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other project information.
  • Coordinate & schedule meetings, conference calls and events as needed.
  • Collaborate with various business and IT teams to complete project onboarding activities
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
  • Conduct project closure activities to include final reporting, lessons learned, knowledge transfer, and project documentation.
  • Document risks issues; maintain, track, and monitor risk issues.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage large projects of varying complexity.
  • Accountable for delivery against approved project scope, budget, and schedule.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications a plus.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • Responsive and alert to new learning opportunities, growth, and development of technical, interpersonal and business skills; able to recognize and address areas needing improvement.
  • Motivated and competent to contribute appropriate time and effort to work needing attention
  • Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.
  • Attentive and reactive to customer needs and concerns.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

The salary range for this opportunity is $87,500-$105,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
