Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester B

You will assemble and test mechanical products to deliver quality parts on time, supporting production and customer requirements. You will work onsite on second shift (2:30pmโ€“11:00pm, Monโ€“Fri) as part of a production team, collaborating with supervisors and crossโ€‘functional stakeholders to support lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Accurately assemble and test products using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and assembly fixtures.
  • Record test results and maintain data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and customer requirements to produce assemblies that meet specifications.
  • Perform touchโ€‘up or full surface painting, mixing paint and cleaning parts as required.
  • Participate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Maintain a safe, foreign object damage (FOD) free work area and ensure equipment calibration per schedule.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 0โ€“1 year of general mechanical work experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical reasoning.
  • Ability to stand approximately 50% of the time and lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
  • Basic math, effective verbal and written communication, and basic computer skills.
  • Availability to work the second shift (2:30pmโ€“11:00pm, Monโ€“Fri) and commit to this job as your primary employment.
  • Ability to pass random drug testing (safety sensitive role).
