Schutz Container System a Global Packaging Container Company located in Fontana, California, looking for a Chemical Engineer -Waste Water Manager

Job Duties,

  • Manage Reconditioning of Intermediate bulk containers (IBCโ€™s) process
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SDS sheets to make risk assessments and chemical classifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Californiaโ€™s EPA,CUPA rules and regulations
  • Experience and strong knowledge in chemical neutralization and understanding the difference between an Acid and a base.
  • Classify all incoming fill goods as needed.
  • Manage Waste water treatment process including Elementary Neutralization Units preparation.
  • Manage all Reconditioning plant waste streams for plant trash, Class 1 waste, Hazardous waste, scrap and recycled metals.
  • Hands on environment with 50% of time split between office work and monitoring the reconditioning process and waste streams.

Job Requirements

  • 4 year Chemical Degree or 8-10 WWTP Management
  • 3-5 year Manufacturing Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer knowledge of MS Windows and SAP
