Job description

In this ambitious role, you will partner with our business unit to effectively carry out lean manufacturing and business process initiatives. You will collaborate with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities and implement lean solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

  • Support the promotion of lean culture in the organization by working with business areas to complete events and projects required to implement the Future State Plans.
  • Apply Lean principles and tools to implement solutions for system and process improvements, such as: Standard work, Ergonomics, cell design-3P, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, and 5S.
  • Prioritize improvement opportunities based on growth, safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash.
  • Support Lean Kaizen Events, including scheduling, organizing materials, meeting room set-up, and recording action items.
  • Conduct process reviews and aid in the creation and/or revision of standardized work procedures.
  • Support open communications and involvement of employees in the process.
  • Provide periodic event progress updates.
  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

  • Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing or lean environments.
  • Knowledge or certification in Six-Sigma.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled with Microsoft office tools: Outlook, TEAMS, Excel and Powerpoint to compile templates, data analysis and create presentations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environments and work effectively under uncertainty.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:

$20.40 - $37.80 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
