Position Summary:
As a member of the lean enterprise team, the Lean Facilitator is responsible for conducting and managing lean events at their site or in their function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conducting and managing lean events at the site or function

  • Identifies goals at event level and acts as a change agent

  • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems; applies limited judgment and discretion.

  • Responds to standard requests from internal and external customers and develops rapport with others

  • Communicates information, asks questions and checks for understanding

  • Works within limited technical guidelines and direction to achieve objectives and meet deadlines

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
Education : High school diploma
Experience : 1+ year experience
Skills/Knowledge: Familiar with lean concepts and tools. (Kaizen, 5s value stream mapping, etc.) Demonstrates understanding of basic business and industry concepts. Understands patterns and trends in data.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
