Engineer

Full time, First shift - 7a-3:30p

The Engineer I is an entry-level role within the Facilities Engineering Department. This position plays a critical part in the team, offering basic maintenance and repair work in a healthcare environment. The Engineer I will acquire and develop skills in several maintenance areas including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair tasks.

Job Duties:

  • Perform basic maintenance duties, including inspections, cleaning, and adjustments, to ensure equipment and systems run efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of outdoor facilities and equipment, regardless of weather conditions, to ensure operational reliability and safety.
  • Perform outdoor structural repairs and adjustments, including in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or extreme temperatures, while following safety protocols.
  • Manage landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including snow removal, leaf raking, and lawn care, and other related duties, adapting techniques to suit different weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • Driver's license
