Overview
Senior Brand Strategists play a pivotal role in guiding digital marketing projects and ensuring strategic and creative consistency. At Razorfish, they are considered insight finders, developing best-in-class analysis underpinned by thoroughness, clarity, and insight. The Brand Strategist will guide all phases of brand assessment, definition, positioning and communication and implementation. Role is responsible for day-to-day strategy development and stewardship for marketing programs across the full life-cycle from conception and proposal through creative briefing, production and insights reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of deliverables such as: Personas, customer journeys, communication architectures, interactive/connection/touch-point plans, campaign plans, and program strategies for client's paid and owned channels, ensuring strategic and creative consistency for all programs and projects.
  • Work with lead creative agency to adapt creative platforms to mid and lower-funnel channel strategies
  • Develop a deep, holistic, and evolving understanding of our client's business objectives, challenges, threats and opportunities - including forward looking awareness of emerging trends and support business development activities
  • Conduct research and analysis to understand target users, audience, or consumers and identify opportunities for effective solutions based upon business goals, audience mindsets, and technology capabilities that respond to business-critical issues, themes and trends
  • Partner with senior team members to develop industry-leading thought leadership
  • Develop insightful and inspiring briefs to provide focus and direction for creative development
  • Develop strong client relationships and trust based on deep immersion in their business, and simplify complex concepts.

Qualifications
  • Comfortable working in a multi-channel environment - be the team's trusted strategy voice through an understanding of traditional digital and social platforms, ability to leverage insights and translating them into creative briefs, client presentations, brand, digital & social strategies.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in brand strategy and digital marketing rooted in consumer behavior and 1st party data insights
  • Diligent researcher skilled at optimally filtering information and distinguishing crucial insights from facts
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clarity and focus for cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to move fast and iteratively
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous with details while maintaining a view of the big picture.
  • Ability to run with projects independently with guidance from lead strategist
  • Can lead internally and externally with presence and value; serving as a trusted strategic advisor.

Compensation Range: $84,200- $125,925 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
