This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic impact in JLL's pursuit success while developing deep expertise at the intersection of sourcing, sales, and client value creation. The Sourcing Pursuit Lead drives JLL's competitive success by developing strategic sourcing solutions for high-value pursuits. This role bridges sourcing excellence with business development, requiring an experienced professional who can independently manage complex opportunities, lead cross-functional collaboration, and mentor team members while demonstrating executive presence and advanced negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development

  • Lead sourcing strategy for complex, high-value pursuits including new business, expansions, and renewals
  • Develop competitive go-to-market solutions that address sophisticated client requirements
  • Translate client objectives into actionable sourcing strategies aligned with JLL's commitments
  • Conduct market intelligence analysis to identify trends and competitive positioning opportunities
  • Act as Global Pursuit lead on multi-region client opportunities, coordinating sourcing activities across multiple geographic markets

Supplier Strategy & RFx Leadership

  • Build strategic relationships with key suppliers across multiple service categories and geographies
  • Design and lead sophisticated RFP/RFI/RFQ processes with complex evaluation criteria
  • Manage multi-supplier competitive processes under tight timelines
  • Negotiate pricing structures and partnership frameworks optimizing client and JLL value

Financial Analysis & Pricing Strategy

  • Create compelling business cases articulating measurable value propositions and ROI
  • Lead financial modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies balancing profitability and risk
  • Validate savings methodologies ensuring credibility of financial commitments

Executive Engagement & Proposal Development

  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Directors, and Pricing leadership on pursuit strategies
  • Participate in executive-level client meetings and negotiations
  • Develop sophisticated sourcing content for proposals and presentations
  • Lead proposal quality reviews as sourcing subject matter expert

Performance Excellence

  • Mentor Sourcing Specialists on pursuit support and skill development
  • Support continuous improvement in pursuit processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Utilize sourcing playbooks and knowledge repositories

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5-8 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or business development with pursuit/sales support success
  • Experience in commercial real estate, facilities management, or integrated facility services
  • Proven track record winning competitive bids through strategic sourcing
  • Expertise in third-party service categories (cleaning, security, HVAC, landscaping, technical services)
  • Success managing sophisticated RFx processes and negotiating competitive terms

Skills

  • Strategic mindset translating business objectives into sourcing strategies
  • Critical thinking to evaluate scenarios and recommend solutions under uncertainty
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence at executive levels
  • Executive presence for client-facing meetings and presentations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • Professional certifications: CPSM, CPM, or equivalent
  • MBA or MS preferred

Estimated compensation for this position:

170,000.00 - 180,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
