About this job 

As a iCrossing QA Lead, you'll lead a test team consisting of manual and automation engineers for one of our biggest clients. You will have an opportunity to lead a QA team and the QA activities for the project in a distributed, engaging environment. 

This role is based in NYC or Chicago and requires on-site attendance a minimum of two days per week. Our in-office policy is currently Tuesday and Wednesday with additional days where required. 

What you'll do

  • Coordinate QA activities between the teams (Delivery, Creative, Technology etc.) and with clients and external partners involved.
  • Work closely with the delivery management and technology teams to define and estimate test scope, methods, timelines and activities for upcoming Agile Sprints.
  • Utilize existing testing tools for test management and test automation (Testrail, Selenium, TestNG and Postman).
  • Review project documentation and business requirements to identify testable/not testable areas and oversee development of the test cases required to support the project.
  • Review test execution results and provide execution progress reports and test result reports to project management, technology teams and client stakeholders.
  • Work with delivery management to ensure the QA team is following defined processes and best practices.
  • Function as a subject matter expert on expected site functionality and requirements.

Who you are

  • Expert in planning and estimating QA activities required for the project within an Agile team environment.
  • Ability to manage QA resources on planned activities (such as test case development, test execution, defects reporting etc.).
  • Proficiency in analyzing and identifying gaps in project documentation, identifying testable/not testable areas.
  • Proficiency with testing tools and methods (Selenium Webdriver Test NG, Postman and Testrail).
  • Proficiency in generating test development/execution progress reports and test result reports.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, web design, internet protocols, operating systems, and relational databases.
  • Working experience with manual testing on different platforms (Mobile, Tablet, Desktop).
  • Working experience using functional web testing and debugging tools such as Firebug, SoapUI, Charles HTTP Proxy, etc.

Great if you also have:

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Working knowledge of web accessibility and accessibility testing tools.
  • Experience in automobile, tire, and auto parts markets.

The estimated hourly range for this position in Chicago is between $69 and $81. For New York City,the estimated hourly range for this position is between $77 and $91. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
