This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to address complex challenges and can provide quantification and MMRV expertise to the expansion of Elanco sustainability offerings.

Monitor and assess updates to key reference / source material and recommend update of tools as appropriate (e.g. IPCC, EPA, USDA, IDF, GRSB, relevant methodologies & industry guidance).
- Monitoring: Leverage carbon program design and methodology knowledge to develop monitoring plans and partner with Elanco UpLook operations team to build requirements and feature roadmaps. Translate complex protocol requirements to operational build and implementation plans.
- Reporting: Build reporting framework to ensure credible report delivery to producers and emission reduction buyers, partnering within the Elanco UpLook operations team to translate and build protocol requirements into operational reporting design features in UpLook. Work with dairy and beef commercial teams to ensure reporting meets producer needs while ensuring contractual and risk management (e.g. no double counting, inappropriate claiming).

- Feed & Feed Ingredient Emissions Quantification: Maintain feed ingredient mapping database for use in carbon programs. Manage relationship with LCA and ingredient database providers, including contracting and ensuring adherence to license agreement requirements.
