Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Laundry Attendant to manage the daily linen needs of our luxury vacation rental properties. This is a fast-paced, production-focused role that requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to meet daily productivity goals.
The position is primarily focused on laundry, with opportunities for additional hours assisting with property inspections and routine cleaning.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and sort dirty laundry into appropriate bins.
  • Plan loads efficiently to ensure all linens for each property’s designated bag are completed together.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and pack sheets, towels, comforters, and other linens.
  • Treat and process stained linens as needed.
  • Pack the correct linens into designated bags for delivery to our properties.
  • Meet established laundry poundage and productivity expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laundry workspace.
  • Monitor supplies and report shortages to management.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Lift and carry laundry bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist with property inspections and routine cleaning when needed and available.
Qualifications

  • Previous professional laundry experience is required.
  • Hospitality experience, including hotels or vacation rentals, is strongly preferred.
  • Housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Schedule

  • Full-time, approximately 30 hours per week
  • Typical day shift: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Schedule and hours vary based on business needs.
  • Additional hours may be available for employees willing to assist with inspections and housekeeping.
