In this role, you will drive end-to-end operational readiness for Last Mile new launch sites. The Launch Manager will orchestrate cross-functional launch activities and stakeholder alignment, owning the implementation of launch playbooks while ensuring operational excellence through comprehensive testing and site validation protocols. You'll serve as the dedicated launch liaison for site leadership teams, developing and executing customized readiness plans to guarantee successful Day 1 operations. Your influence will extend across systems, staffing, training, and operations teams as you track and complete critical pre-launch milestones according to established timelines and quality standards.
The successful candidate will combine strong project management capabilities with operational execution experience, demonstrating success in fast-paced launch environments and a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Superior stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive alignment across various functions are crucial for success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
An effective Last Mile Launch Manager is committed to driving operational excellence by focusing on five strategic areas: (1) Launch Readiness, (2) Stakeholder Management, (3) Operational Validation, (4) Process Implementation, and (5) Site Excellence. By concentrating on these areas, the Launch Manager will contribute to the successful scaling of our Lat Mile network through:
• Executing comprehensive launch playbooks and readiness plans, coordinating with multiple stakeholder teams across Operations, Technology, HR, and Training departments to ensure Day 1 success.
• Leading site readiness assessments and validation protocols, identifying operational gaps and implementing solutions through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making.
• Developing and standardizing launch processes, documentation, and quality control measures while establishing best practices for successful site operations across the network.
• Managing multiple concurrent site launches, effectively tracking progress against critical milestones and communicating operational readiness to leadership through clear, actionable metrics.
• Partnering with operations teams to optimize launch procedures and training protocols while ensuring comprehensive testing and validation of all operational systems prior to launch.
A day in the life
As a Last Mile Launch Manager, your day revolves around ensuring operational readiness across multiple new site launches. Throughout the day, you'll lead meetings with various stakeholders. Training teams for staff readiness updates, and Technology teams for systems testing milestones. Time is spent conducting readiness walks, ensuring launch documentation is complete, and developing standardized processes to improve future launches. When on-site for launches, you'll perform hands-on operational validation, support site leadership teams through Day 1 operations, and ensure all launch protocols are properly executed. Your role is to keep all operational elements synchronized, driving successful site launches efficiently.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
