Job description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Neurologist at Nellis AFB in Nevada.

Details:

  • Full-time position
  • Monday - Friday 0730 - 1630
  • On-call required 
  • Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
  • Outpatient environment with consultation for inpatient services and stroke coverage when on-call

Requirements: 

  • Successful complete of ACGME approved Neurology Medical Residency
  • Minimum of 2 years of neurologic clinical experience required
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Board certification in adult Neurology
  • Unrestricted Medical License in Nevada

Responsibilities:

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
  • Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergency problems as they occur.
  • Capable of performing lumbar punctures, interpreting nerve conduction studies and electromyography.
  • Perform evoked potentials and electroencephalograms.
  • Capable of providing chemo denervation (such as botulinum toxin injections) for common neurological conditions.
