Position: Full-Time Large Format Printing / Bindery Operator

At Curtis Print & Design, we take pride in producing high-quality printed materials for a wide
range of applications, from brochures, spiral bound books to banners and signage for indoor and
outdoor usage. With state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to excellence, were looking
for a talented and reliable employee to join our team and work in our large format department.
Job Description:
You will play a key role in printing high-quality large format projects, including indoor and
outdoor signs, banners, window decals, promotional branding and marketing materials for
businesses, schools and government entities. Equally important in this position is the ability to
mount printed vinyl on substrates including coroplast, foam core, pvc and aluminum. Some jobs
will require a laminate over printed material as well.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and print using Ricoh and Roland large format printers with ONYX RIP software.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
  • Inspect print jobs before finishing and mounting for quality control, making adjustments
as necessary to ensure top quality during the finishing process.
  • Collaborate with production teams (graphics and installation) to ensure smooth workflow
and quality standards when necessary.
  • Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with large format printing equipment preferred.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
when necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication to help customers and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with design software (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
