Join Our Team at PIP Printing!
Are you someone who enjoys working with technology, staying busy, and producing something you can see at the end of the day? We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Digital Press & Large Format Operator.
Print experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and become proficient with both digital printing and large-format production equipment.
What You'll Do
Large Format Production
  • Read job tickets and select the correct media and substrates.
  • Prepare substrates for printing and application, including cutting, cleaning, and laminating.
  • Program and operate large-format printing and finishing equipment, including the Colex cutter.
  • Perform finishing operations such as laminating, mounting, encapsulating, and cutting.
  • Monitor print quality and ensure jobs meet specifications.
  • Maintain knowledge of signage and graphics media, substrates, and applications.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of media, laminates, and substrates.
  • Keep equipment and the production area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Keep equipment and the production area clean, organized, and ready for the next job.

Digital Press Production
  • Read job tickets and verify print specifications before beginning production.
  • Select the correct paper and materials as specified on the job ticket.
  • Program and operate digital presses.
  • Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Organize and transport completed prints to the appropriate rack or finishing area for the next stage of production.
  • Work closely with other production team members to ensure jobs move efficiently through the shop.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
