Role Description

John's Landscape Service is seeking a skilled Landscape Designer for a full-time hybrid role based in Arlington, MA, with some remote work flexibility. The Landscape Designer will be responsible for creating customized landscape and hardscape designs, drafting planting plans, collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life, and ensuring the proper selection of materials. The role will also include site visits to assess project requirements, coordination with installation teams, and managing projects from concept to completion with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Landscape Design and Landscape Architecture
  • Experience with Hardscape and designing functional outdoor living spaces
  • Ability to create detailed and aesthetically pleasing Planting Plans
  • Strong knowledge of Landscaping techniques, materials, and maintenance practices
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams effectively
  • Degree or certification in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with local regulations, climate-specific plants, and sustainable landscape practices is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to conduct site visits as needed
