Job description

Salary: $23 Entry Level - Higher Pay Rates for Experienced Applicants

Team Leader Design Build Division


Reports To: Project Manager / Supervisor


Required Result

As a Team Leader in the Design-Build Division, you are accountable for:

Leading, coaching, and managing Design-Build crews while delivering landscape projects on time, within budget, and according to project specifications and company standards.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with project owners, managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Enforce and uphold all safety standards on job sites.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule necessary materials, subcontractors, equipment, and other resources.
  • Complete projects within the hours and budget allocated.
  • Train and develop crew members into highly skilled and competent landscape installers.
  • Maintain and submit daily job records as required by Cross Creek Nursery and Landscaping.
  • Work independently to install landscaping projects using experience, certifications, or educational background.
  • Operate equipment safely and in accordance with all relevant safety regulations and manuals. Train crew members on proper equipment use.
  • Read, interpret, and implement Landscape and Construction Plans.

  • Produce high-quality results for all assigned jobs.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe job site per company standards.
  • Interact with clients and employees respectfully, politely, and professionally.
  • Promote Cross Creek Nursery and Landscaping's image through the upkeep of clean, safe equipment and vehicles.
  • Uphold a neat, professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Protect the confidentiality of client and company information.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Professional demeanor in appearance, speech, and behavior.
  • Willingness and ability to attain professional certification within one year of hire (e.g., NALP-Installation, Spray Tech, Certified Horticulturist, or other approved certifications).
