Description

DTK Landscaping is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead and support our landscaping production managers and crews. You'll be responsible for hiring, training, and helping our teams work more efficiently and safely. This role is key to keeping our operations running smoothly as we grow.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train production managers to lead landscaping crews.
  • Responsible for scheduling, timesheets, work tickets, and managing overtime.
  • Daily use of Aspire Landscape Management Software
  • Review and submit reports, time sheets, and other weekly operations documents.
  • Solve day-to-day issues like rescheduling, quality control, customer concerns, and equipment problems.
  • Train crews on using Aspire landscape management app for clocking in and out.
  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Landscaping on team and operational needs.
  • Schedule truck, trailer, and equipment repairs as needed.
  • Know the details of each landscaping account and its scope of work.
  • Lead safety trainings and check that crews are following safety rules in the field.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in landscaping, operations, or managing field teams.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to solve problems and stay organized.
  • Familiarity with Aspire or similar software is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.


Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work periodic Saturday 
  • Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions
  • May work with low-voltage electrical components
  • Regular use of mechanical tools and irrigation equipment
  • Typical work shifts are 8 to 10 hours
  • Requires full use of hands for tool operation
  • Must be able to see both near and far, with or without corrective lenses
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, reach, climb, and maintain balance as needed
  • May need to lift or move items weighing 25-50 pounds
