Job description

Position Summary:

The Lighthouse Landscape Lighting Technician is a part of the Lighting Production Team and is an experienced team member that directly assists the Landscape Lighting Manager activities including lighting installation, service/repair, and maintenance. The ideal candidate is someone in good standing with the state laws/requirements and is a hard-working, dedicated, positive attitude person.


Some responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assists crews as necessary to meet production schedules by laying out lighting system, placing, and setting fixtures, running wire, making connections, trenching, and burying wire, raking, shoveling, hanging fixtures, setting wire to trees, mounting fixtures to surfaces and trees, cleaning the work area.
  • Communicates daily with the Landscape Lighting Manager and provides feedback about daily work.
  • Enforces safe work behavior and maintains safe work sites.


Special Skills and Certifications

  • NJ eligible to work at will.
  • Strong command of written and verbal English language required.
  • Valid driver’s license


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fairfield, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)


Experience:

  • Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)


License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
