As a Sr. Irrigation Technician at Greenscape, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of irrigation systems and helping our clients maintain beautiful, healthy landscapes. Bring your skill and passion in irrigation craftsmanship and contribute your expertise to our landscaping projects. You would repair irrigation services in a manner that is safe, efficient, and delivers a quality product to the customer. Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to read landscape and irrigation blue prints plans
  • Demonstrated ability in irrigation system management, equipment operation and basic small engine field repair and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to read maps, give and follow clear directions
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) particularly for conveying technical information
  • Demonstrated positive approach towards customer service and co-workers
  • Must have a high level of motivation, enthusiasm, be a self-starter and perform daily under pressure.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as necessary
  • Irrigation Certification a plus

Responsibility

  • Maintains familiarity with each irrigation job’s specifications and insures compliance
  • Determines priorities and division of irrigation service work on a daily basis to ensure timely customer service while maximizing client route
  • Ensures that all equipment and materials are available in sufficient quantity to complete the days tasks
  • Manages equipment needs and sees that all equipment is properly maintained
  • Communicates changes/adds with Irrigation Manager.
  • Visits sites to evaluate quality of turf/beds and proper irrigation system maintenance
  • Anticipates and solves problems before they occur
  • Responds quickly to problem areas
  • Manages irrigation service packages for existing /new clients
  • Informs clients of any schedule changes
  • Responds to clients request in a timely fashion
  • Informs Irrigation Manager of repair requests
  • Monitors irrigation materials in order to maintain efficient inventory levels
