Landscape Garden Centers, a family owned company with over 40 years of providing excellent services in Sioux Falls and surrounding areas, has an opening for Landscape Designer.

Are you passionate about landscape design and enjoy helping clients bring their vision to life? We are seeking a Landscape Designer & Sales Consultant who can guide customers through the entire design process, from the initial consultation to project completion.

In this role, you will combine creative design expertise with relationship-building and sales skills. You will meet with homeowners and business clients, develop custom landscape designs, present proposals, and help clients make informed decisions about their outdoor investment.

What You'll DoClient Consultation & Sales
  • Respond to incoming landscape design leads and schedule consultations.
  • Meet with residential and commercial clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget.
  • Educate clients on our design and installation process.
  • Build strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present designs and proposals in a professional and persuasive manner.
  • Secure project approvals and assist clients through the decision-making process.
Landscape Design
  • Create custom landscape designs that align with client needs, site conditions, and project budgets.
  • Develop design concepts, layouts, planting plans, and outdoor living solutions.
  • Present design concepts and gather client feedback.
  • Revise and modify designs based on client requests and project requirements.
Estimating & Project Transition
  • Prepare project budgets and cost proposals for client review and approval.
  • Manage project scope changes and coordinate change orders as needed.
  • Ensure all project details are accurately documented before transferring projects to the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and installation teams to support successful project execution.
Project Completion
  • Conduct final project walkthroughs with clients.

Qualifications
