Job description

Job Overview:
Immediate Opening - The Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing the development of new construction installations, ensuring that crew members remain safe, all grounds are well-kept and meet the aesthetic and functional needs of the property & are in accordance with the defined plan sets provided. This role involves supervising a Landscape Construction crew, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of landscape construction workers in daily tasks.
  • Adhere to the schedules provided for landscaping needs.
  • Inspect grounds regularly to ensure quality & safety standards are met.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for construction activities.
  • Train crew on proper techniques and safety procedures.
  • Communicate with Divisional Managers regarding project updates and maintenance needs.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grounds maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in the operation of construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass drug test, DOT physical, and road test.ย
