Job Summary
  • The Landscape Construction Laborer utilizes hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape construction duties.
  • This position requires travel with overnight stays. Housing and Per Diem provided by the company to cover all meals and incidentals

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Excavate manually with a shovel
  • Handle & install trees & shrubs
  • Handle fertilizers & soil enrichment materials
  • Move & spread soil and aggregates
  • Install seed & sod
  • Hand tool use, including wheelbarrow
  • Load & unload materials

Education and Experience:
  • Ability to follow supervisor instructions
  • Knowledge of safe working practices
  • Landscape Construction experience helpful, but not necessary.

Physical Demands/Requirements:
  • Ability to load/unload semi trucks (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.
  • Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)

Work Environment:
  • Ability to work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic.
  • Ability to work near or about natural bodies of water.
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

Compensation Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $18 - $23 dependent on previous work experience and license/certifications held
