Job description:
As a Landscape Architect, you will manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and of the highest quality. You will lead coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams while helping shape communities across Northern Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle for landscape architecture and site development projects from kickoff to closeout.
- Oversee technical tasks such as developing renderings, preparing conceptual plans, planting plans, hardscape layout, lighting, and construction detailing.
- Develop site design concepts and detailed plans for outdoor amenity spaces, including plazas, courtyards, and streetscapes.
- Oversee the preparation of construction details and technical specifications that align with project standards and local codes.
- Prepare illustrative renderings, 3D visualizations, and presentation graphics to communicate design intent.
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and guiding communication between internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration with civil engineers, planners, architects, and other professionals.
- Provide mentorship, direction, and quality assurance for junior team members.
