Job description

Senior Project Manager / Architect โ€“ Retail (Hybrid)

This role supports a retail and commercial architecture team delivering projects from concept through construction. The position focuses on project leadership, technical coordination, and consultant integration across multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

Create architectural concepts and designs based on client goals and feedback

Prepare and develop drawings across all project phases, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details

Interpret and apply building codes, zoning requirements, and accessibility standards

Coordinate with consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.) to align building systems with design intent

Manage project budgets and contracts for multiple projects

Update and refine designs as project needs evolve

Review drawings and provide redlines and quality checks

Communicate with contractors during construction to support design intent and field changes

Participate in internal team meetings and coordination calls with external consultants

Qualifications

Licensed Architect

Strong knowledge of building and accessibility codes

Solid understanding of building construction systems

Experience producing architectural documents from concept through construction

Ability to perform space planning, layout studies, and programming support

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage schedules and budgets

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
