Job description

  1. Meet with faculty to identify and clarify skills to be practiced and set up schedule for the semester. Be competent in skills required by students.
  2. Coordinate and supervise skill demonstration, student practice of skills, and sign-offs for student proficiency.
  3. Provide availability of individual instruction for disadvantages for students as needed.
  4. Discuss with faculty individual student learning needs. Contact faculty members every two weeks with students' progress.
  5. Maintain a consistent schedule and record of attendance in skill lab.
  6. Maintain inventory, security, and functionality of equipment and supplies.
  7. Be available for MDA and PHB students according to schedules designed by the skills lab instructors and approved by the MDA or PHB program coordinator and faculty.
  8. Maintain quality controls, all equipment, and adhere to industry standards.
