Daemen University is going beyond instrumental needs to foster the development of individuals who are dedicated to the health and well-being of local and global communities.About This OpportunityJoining our Natural Sciences team, the Physics Laboratory Instructor will be responsible for the following:PHY 201L (General Physics I laboratory); 1 Credit Hour(s)PHY 201L: Topics focus on scientific reasoning and experimental design while exploring concepts of velocity, acceleration, forces, and vectors. Experience with "active learning" in both an online and face to face modality.Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all university constituents.Strong time management/organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to work with students, faculty, staff, and all university administration.Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations.Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.$1025 per class taught.Part-Time In-person Laboratory Instructor, fall semester. Instructor will teach a 2-contact hour, 1 credit hour laboratory.
