HRIS Analyst is responsible for assisting with the management and maintenance of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other Human Resources related systems to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. This role involves testing, reporting and analyzing HR data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. The HRIS Analyst collaborates with various departments to optimize HRIS functionalities and enhance overall HR service delivery for ERCOT management and employees.

JOB DUTIES

  • Support HR systems upgrades, enhancements, and implementations.
  • Responsible for creating system test scripts, analyzing test results, and maintaining regression test logs.
  • Generate, analyze, and present HR-related data and metrics. Create standardized and ad-hoc reports to support HR and business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HRIS functionalities and workflows. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement system improvements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations.
  • Provide training and support to HRIS users. Troubleshoot system issues and escalate to IT as necessary.
  • Ensure HRIS practices comply with data protection regulations and internal policies. Stay updated on HRIS best practices and industry trends.
  • Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Understands and apply principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and ERCOT's culture.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Requires minimum 2 years of job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements
  • Experience with Workday HCM

Salary and level will be based on overall experience as determined by ERCOT. There is one position available.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Success Factors succession planning, and Cornerstone LMS
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience and knowledge of HR processes and best practices

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Required)
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required

CERTIFICATION

  • PHR Professional in Human Resources (Preferred)
  • SHRM-CP (Preferred)
  • Workday Pro (Preferred)

WORK LOCATION - Taylor, TX:

  • Employees will be required to be on-site in Taylor, TX at a minimum of 2 days per week, or more, as needed based on the business needs as determined by management
  • On-site schedules are flexible or may be rotated based on business needs as determined by the Manager
  • Remote work is required to be performed from your Texas residence.
  • Employees may opt to work on-site more than required or 100% of the time
