Job description

Mancan of Mount Vernon is working with a local manufacturing partner to hire a Pullover Operator for their weekend shift. This role involves operating fully automatic machinery to produce flexible duct in various sizes and lengths. The position is fast-paced, production-driven, and ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience who are mechanically inclined and team-oriented. This is a high-priority opening with strong earning potential once hired on permanently.
Schedule:
Friday Sunday | 5:00 AM 5:30 PM
Mandatory overtime on Mondays
Work 36 hours and get paid for 40
Training required on 1st shift for 48 weeks prior to moving to the weekend shift
Job Duties:
Operate fully automatic machinery to produce flexible duct
Load and maintain machine materials including scrim, fiberglass, wire coil, and flex duct
Monitor production to meet daily goals of approximately 200 parts per day
Label, box, and palletize completed products
Work in a fast-paced cell environment
Frequent exposure to fiberglass insulation
Participate in a piece-rate pay structure once hired on permanently, allowing for increased earnings based on productivity
Requirements:
Ability to lift 40+ pounds regularly
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Previous forklift experience preferred
