Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator I, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining machinery in a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will ensure smooth machine operations by understanding work orders and special instructions, making necessary adjustments, and maintaining product quality standards. You will work in adherence to plant safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand work orders, including special instructions.
  • Print labels and adhere them to finished goods and pallets.
  • Enter Safety, Maintenance, and Planning requests as needed.
  • Complete necessary changeovers within the allotted time.
  • Conduct proper shift turnover processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and proper techniques for machine operations, meeting quality standards.
  • Meet production and throughput standards.
  • Execute machine operating procedures such as adjusting tension control, unwind, roll change, and perform maintenance.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain machines such as label applicators and case sealing machines.
  • Move punch, release liner, bubble piercer, and cooling bars safely.
  • Perform machine-specific Preventative Maintenance.
  • Work 12-hour shifts
