Entegris is seeking aSenior MechanicalTest Engineerto support ourproductengineers, scientists, product management, and sales teams by providing test data and data analysis of our wafer and reticle handling products, including technology development, test method development, andspecializedtest equipmentutilization,design, and fabrication. This isa great opportunityfor a highly analytical person to show their creativeproblem-solvingskills in afast-pacedhigh technology industry with a growing, global company.This position will involveproving reliability and performance ofEntegris products that enable state of the art andcutting-edgetechnology, providing the Semiconductor Industry the ability to successfully achieve its quest forfaster processors, better chip yields to meet theever-increasingdemand,andchipdesignsto increasesubstrate utilization.

In this role you will:

  • Provideaccurate, expedient characterization and analysis of wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment;

  • Work on product development teams

  • Manage test projects

  • Develop new, creative,noveland robusttest methodswith high regard for product reliability

  • Design, build, repair, andmaintainlaboratory equipment,data acquisitionsystemsand test fixtures

  • Analyzes test data, writes test reports and PowerPointpresentationsand gives oral presentations

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • BSor MSdegree inScience or Engineeringdiscipline;Preferred discipline: Mechanical Engineering or highly related field

  • 3+years ofexperience in anengineeringor R&D environment;

  • Experience in any of the following areas a plus: data acquisition programming, motion control, instrumentation, semiconductor industry, cleanroom, particle technology, thermal and fluid science, polymer science, general lab practices/safety, statistical data analysis, shock and vibration data acquisition and analysis, shipping simulation testing;

  • Creative thinker to problemsolveand to develop new test protocols;

  • High degree of mechanical aptitude;

  • Strong data analysisskillswith Excel and Minitabor JMP;

  • Creo and/or SOLIDWORKS user a plus;

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer-oriented working environment;

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and across all functional areas;
