Job description

Paola High School is seeking applicants with Secondary Agriculture Education certification for an Agriculture and FFA teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualified applicants would possess licensure that allows them to teach a combination of high school level Intro to Ag, Ag Welding, Animal Science/Health, and Food Science courses.
Position may include extended contract days and supplemental contracts for FFA sponsorship and/or Animal Science Lab supervisor.
Coaching opportunities or additional supplemental positions may also be available for interested candidates.
Paola High School utilizes a Block Schedule with 85 minute class periods. Teachers have an 85 minute plan period and teach three classes every day. Paola High School's two-teacher Agriculture Department and FFA chapter has a long history student success, including a 2026 Kansas FFA Top 5 Sweepstakes finish.
