Full-Time, Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) with Rotating Weekends, $22.66 to $30.54/hr, $15,000 Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Case-by-Case
Overview
Join a dynamic clinical laboratory team as a Medical Lab Technician, performing essential diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology. This role offers night shifts with rotating weekends and the opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced hospital laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform technical laboratory testing, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology
  • Accurately report test results and alert providers and nurses of abnormal findings
  • Ensure quality control in specimen collection, processing, and record-keeping
  • Maintain, calibrate, and test laboratory equipment for accuracy and sterility
  • Prepare, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and devices
  • Follow all laboratory protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Support laboratory workflow and assist in training new staff as needed
Qualifications
Required:
  • Current Florida Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license
  • MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong foundational knowledge of laboratory procedures and specimen handling
Preferred:
  • Associates Degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • Prior medical laboratory experience, including clinical rotations or lab assistant work
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and laboratory safety procedures
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly pay: $22.66-$30.54 based on experience
  • Shift Differentials: Evenings $1.45/hr, Nights $2.50/hr
  • $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
