Specialty Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Location: Orange Park, FL

Shift: Full-Time Days > 10 Hours, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM / Weekend Rotation

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Relocation: $5K over 250 Miles, $2,500 over 50 Miles

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Shift Differentials: Nights $3.50, Weekends $6

Job Description:

A Cardiac Cath Lab Technician is a professional who works in the field of cardiovascular technology. Cath lab technicians are vital team members who assist doctors during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs technical skills through education & expertise.
  • Documents & communicates data in concise manner.
  • Develops individual goal-directed care to cardiac patient through use of assessment and technical skills.
  • Witness for waste of drugs in the automated drug delivery system to include narcotics.
  • Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • BCLS Certified (prefer ACLS certified); prefer RCVT or RT.
  • 2 years experience in Cath lab preferred.
