Dental Lab Technician Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dental Lab Technician to join our in-house digital lab for a large dental corporation.

This is a modern, high-volume, fully digital environment focused on advanced restorative and implant workflows.

Requirements

Dental Lab Technician Qualifications

  • Experience with full-arch or AOX workflows (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Team player with good communication skills

Dental Lab Technician Responsibilities and Duties

  • Communicating with dental offices to provide case updates and address concerns
  • Communicating with restorative doctors and team members regarding case details
  • Sending and receiving files, managing communication with outsourced designers
  • Ensuring the lab remains clean, organized, and efficient
  • Shipping and receiving cases
  • Coordinating with the billing department to place orders and ensure materials and lab needs are processed correctly

Dental Lab Technician Experience

  • 3D Printing experience (we use SprintRay printers)
  • Experience finishing PMMA (polishing, characterization, adjustments)
  • Milling experience Zirconia and Milled PMMA (we use Roland DWX-52DCi)
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Exocad
  • Designing and finishing night guards
  • Understanding of digital workflows
