Medical Lab Technician
MLee Healthcare is partnering with a respected local hospital to recruit a Full-Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Laboratory Medical Laboratory Technician. This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering the highest quality of patient care. In this role, you will play a vital part in the diagnostic process by independently handling patient samples, performing a variety of routine tests, and ensuring that lab equipment is properly maintained. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans..
Medical Laboratory Scientist Responsibilities:
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift
  • Independently handle patient samples
  • Perform routine tests with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
  • Interpret test data, troubleshoot, and solve problems
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (including Military Degrees)
  • Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician (NCA, ASCP, AMT) or exam eligible
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred, but not required
