This position works out of our Marshfield, WI location supporting rare disease genetic testing and hereditary cancer testing in the Cancer Diagnostics division.

The Accessioning Technician I will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of various types of patient information into databases. This includes assisting accessioning staff with entry of client orders for testing (accessioning) and entry of other pertinent information in databases, as requested.

Shift: Monday-Friday, rotating 3rd Saturdays, 11:00am-4:00pm

Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Follow all standard operating procedures specific to assigned department/laboratory, which may include, but is not limited to, the following:, Receive and open packages of patient specimens for accessioning;Accession samples into clinical database;Enter/scan all relevant patient/institutional data into database(s) and ensure accuracy.
