Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Phlebotomist - ICC

  • Location: 15 S McHenry Rd. Buffalo Grove, IL.

  • Full Time: 36 hours/ week

  • Hours: Monday to Friday: 6:45am to 5:00pm with rotating start time. Saturday: 7:45am to noon: Sunday: 8am to noon. Working every other weekend.

  • Required Travel: Float to all 4 ICC Labs

  • This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

Reporting to the ICC Lab Manager, the ICC Lab Specialist performs a variety of pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical functions in the laboratory. This includes key laboratory duties such as providing customer service support including outpatient registration and order entry, completion of medical necessity at point of service, phlebotomy, specimen processing and point of care testing (POCT).

What you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Some college level courses preferred.

  • Certification: Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience with all age groups required or certification from an approved school of phlebotomy.

  • Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in direct customer service preferred.
