Job description

Position Title: Lab Sampler/Driver

Reports to: Logistics Dept.

Location:  Irvine, CA

Position Description

The Lab Sampler/Driver is responsible for picking up the samples from the client's location and deliver to the testing laboratory.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Drive to client's cultivation and distribution locations to collect cannabis samples for lab testing
  • Follow laboratory's standard operating procedures
  • Drop off samples to the testing laboratory
  • Document sample intake and client information
  • Work closely with sales staff and logistic operations manager on coordinating client pick-ups
  • Organize and record inventory of supplies needed to complete pick-ups
  • Build professional relationships with clients
  • Work with the Logistics Operations Manager to manage vehicle maintenance

Education, Experience & Certificates

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Valid CA driver's license
  • Valid CA vehicle insurance
  • Completed 2 years of college coursework
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Prior experience as a driver a plus

Work Location:

  • Must come to the office to check-in and then be on the road.  Must go back to the office to return company vehicle.
