Job description

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab (Days)
Position Summary
The Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. The RN supports physicians throughout procedures, monitors physiologic and hemodynamic status, and assists with maintaining equipment, supplies, and room readiness. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition, and effective coordination with the cardiovascular laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care associated with the

surgical/interventional environment.
  • Communicate with physicians continuously and as needed regarding patient condition and

procedural updates.
  • Monitor hemodynamic and physiologic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic

procedures.
  • Document patient status and clinical responses consistently throughout procedures.
  • Prepare procedure rooms, assess equipment readiness, and ensure proper functioning of all

devices.
  • Obtain and organize supplies for individual cases; ensure procedural needs are met for the

cardiovascular lab team.
  • Assist with equipment care, inventory control, and room turnover processes.
  • Respond effectively to emergent patient conditions and assist with acute interventions.
  • Support patient and family communication and education related to procedures and care

plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid RN license - required.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification - required.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification - required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac

procedures or in a Critical Care environment - required.
  • BSN - preferred.
Shift Details
  • 07:00 - 15:30 (Days).
  • 5x8, 40 hours per week guaranteed.
  • Assignment dates: 08/10/2026 - 11/08/2026.
  • No on-call.
  • Riverdale, GA.
Compensation
  • $2660.00/week gross (40 guaranteed hours)
  • Housing & meals stipend available for qualifying travelers (amount finalized with your recruiter within IRS/GSA limits)
  • Local candidates: $66.50/hr
