Responsibilities:

  • Excellent employment opportunity for a Manufacturing Technology Associate II in the Frederick, MD area. (100% onsite)
  • The Manufacturing Technology Associate II play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives.
  • The position may require off-shift and weekend work as well as infrequent travel.
  • Responsible for conducting or participating in technically fast paced projects within your specific area or field
  • Support the design of validation sampling/test plans and performing development studies
  • Prepare medias and buffers to support MST experiments
  • Assist to monitor and maintain lab equipment and inventory
  • Inoculate and expand cell culture to support scientific studies and resolve technical issues encountered during study execution.
  • Enter all data timely into electronic lab systems and assist in data analysis, population of presentations and reports
  • Supports technology transfer activities tracked in the site change control system, method validation/method transfer, filter validation, shipping qualification, and FAT/ SAT /Commissioning activities.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Science or Engineering.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Scientific / Biotech / Pharmaceutical field.
  • Previous experience in Biologics working in cell culture (cell lines such as mammalian) and purification of large molecules in therapeutic antibodies, vaccines or injectables.
  • Knowledge of GMP manufacturing principles and documentation.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Science or Engineering, preferable having Biology education
