Job Duties:
  • Data entry of test orders.
  • Sort, pick up, and deliver processed specimens to the laboratory.
  • Identifies problems and in some cases, resolves issues with specimens, such as missing information, etc.
  • Research test ordering information on translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Specimen handling preferred.
  • Prefer one year of experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.
