Job description

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization committed to implementing lean constructions, collaborative contracting, and execution approaches to enable breakthroughs in performance.

WWPS is seeking a highly skilled LPS Planner (Last Planner System) to join our growing team in Chandler, AZ. This role is responsible for leading and elevating planning performance through the implementation and execution of the Last Planner System. This individual will play a critical role in driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.

The LPS Planner will serve as a key leader on the project, working across all levels of the organization to ensure planning processes are effectively implemented, adopted, and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

Enthusiastic Leader responsible for improving the culture of planning through utilization of the Last Planner System. Ability to coach and train project teams - from front line workers to senior leadership levels. Ability to facilitate LPS meetings and interfaces while encouraging collaboration.

You would be responsible for driving the following aspects of LPS:

  • Aggressive Constraint Management
  • Pull Planning Execution and Collaboration
  • Make Work Ready / Look Ahead Planning
  • Weekly Work Planning
  • Daily Huddles Management and Effectiveness
  • Learn and drive continuous improvement through experiences and reflection

In addition to the above, this role will:

  • Lead planning strategy and execution across all phases of construction
  • Partner with project leadership, trade partners, and field teams to drive alignment and accountability
  • Facilitate planning sessions and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Monitor planning performance and proactively address risks, constraints, and schedule impacts
  • Promote a culture of lean construction principles and continuous improvement
  • Interface with project stakeholders to ensure planning transparency and effectiveness

Skills / Experience

  • 3-5 Years of Construction Experience
  • Strong Understanding of Last Planner System
  • Construction Execution Leadership Experience
  • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
  • Proficient in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or industrial construction environments
  • Familiarity with construction planning tools such as Primavera P6, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to lead planning efforts on complex, fast-paced construction projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Candidates local to the Phoenix Metro area only please
  • Ability to work onsite and engage directly with field teams and leadership
  • Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
