Workday HCM Lead
We are seeking a seasoned Workday HCM Implementation Lead to drive successful delivery of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions for healthcare organizations. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end implementations, managing client relationships, and ensuring alignment with workforce, compliance, and operational requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise in Workday HCM, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead full lifecycle Workday HCM implementations for healthcare clients, from discovery through go-live and post-production support
  • Serve as the primary functional lead and client point of contact for HCM workstreams
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into Workday solutions aligned with business operations
  • Configure and oversee configuration of Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, and Talent
  • Lead client workshops, design sessions, and solution demonstrations
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution for HCM workstreams
  • Coordinate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and reporting requirements
  • Support testing strategy (unit, system, UAT), deployment planning, and cutover activities
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants
  • Partner with project managers and other functional leads to ensure cohesive delivery
  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Workday HCM implementation experience
  • Proven experience leading at least 2 full-cycle Workday HCM implementations
  • Strong functional expertise across Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting)
  • Demonstrated team and functional workstream leadership
  • Ability to guide clients and build client relationships
  • Experience facilitating client workshops and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Workday HCM Partner Certifications preferred (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Benefits)
  • Experience with testing, security and data conversion
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, UKG/Kronos)
  • Knowledge of Workday deployment methodology

For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms.
