Company Description
Kraco Enterprises, LLC, is primarily a fabricated rubber products manufacturing company. While they mainly produce floormats, they have also produced tire walls and even audio equipment including car speakers, stereos, and CB radios. Kraco was founded in 1954 in Compton, California. Their first product was "Snap-on" white walls to create temporary white-walled tires. They moved into making rubber, vinyl and soon thereafter, carpet floormats as the business expanded.
Job Description
  • Support product development efforts to build a new product pipeline to ensure a constant stream of new products and product upgrades are introduced within planned lead-times
  • Review and analyze sales reports from internal sources and syndicated data in order to identify key issues, trends, opportunities, and competitive activity to develop category and product strategies
  • Work with Product Development team to identify new product trends/concepts and product opportunities that are most suited to target our consumers and customers
  • Analyze brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product tends in the marketplace and develop strategies for assigned brand based on research and analysis
  • Translate marketing requirements from both a technical and creative basis into new products, line extensions and packaging enhancements for the market in collaboration with both internal and external resources
  • Assist in creating product presentations that will be presented to buyers at major retail chains, as well as to in-house sales and supply chain personnel
  • Collaborate with sales team regarding promotional strategies, new product introductions, product costing, margin analysis, marketing materials, merchandising, and program recommendations
  • Contribute toward improving financials: optimize pricing, work with supply chain to strengthen cost position, and collaborate with sales to align trade spend
  • Work with supply chain and factories to minimize cost of goods sold and increase profitability
  • Analyze market, consumer, and competitive information in setting new product pricing and managing pricing on existing products
  • Assist in developing, implementing and managing annual strategic, financial and marketing plans for assigned categories and related brands
  • Manage SKU rationalization via monthly reviews of product performance and inventory levels to ensure stock availability on upward trending SKUs and exit strategies are identified for downward trending SKUs
  • Fullfill miscellaneous obligations to ensure efficient business operations (i.e. sample request fulfillment, print proofing for packaging/artwork, POG set-up, etc.)

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of current Marketing experience with a Consumer Products or Services Company
  • BA or BS in Marketing, Business or related degree preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial data analysis
  • Works well with others, open to others ideas, and maintains confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and written skills
