Job description

We are seeking a Korean-English on-site translator to support communication between Korean engineers and local workers inside a semiconductor construction site. This position focuses on live interpretation to help ensure instructions, safety guidance, and daily work activities are clearly understood by both sides.

Responsibilities

  • Provide verbal translation (Korean -> English) during daily meetings, site coordination, and work briefings.

  • Support communication between Korean supervisors and English-speaking construction crews.

  • Translate safety instructions, work directions, and equipment use guidance on-site.

  • Relay information quickly and accurately in a loud, fast-paced construction environment.

  • Assist with minor written translation (labels, safety notices, and short messages) as needed.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Korean and English (speaking and listening required).

  • Ability to work on-site inside a fab or construction area (PPE provided).

  • Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods.

  • Reliable, professional, and able to communicate clearly under pressure.

  • Prior experience on a construction or semiconductor site preferred by not required.

Schedule and Pay

  • Monday to Friday, 8 - 10 hours per day (occasional weekend work may be required).

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

  • Safety training and orientation provided.
