Job description

TheKMLCoordinatorsupports the Knowledge Management & Learning team inmaintainingthe firm's knowledge platforms, coordinating learning programs, administering training content and systems, preparing usage and completion reports, and supporting day-to-day KML operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, proactive follow-through, and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, businessprofessionalsand members of the wider firm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the firm's core Knowledge, Intranet and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.

  • Coordinate and administer firmwide learning programs, including scheduling, presenter support, traininglogistics, recordings, post-traininguploadsand reporting.

  • Support knowledge capture, content organization, internal research, content review cycles, and the development of resources that help employeeslocateand use firm knowledge effectively.

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the KMLteam, including team communications, calendars, reporting, meetingcoordinationand process documentation.

Knowledge platforms and content management

  • Maintain and updatecontent onthe firm'sKnowledgeandIntranetPlatforms, including uploading, tagging, organizinglinksand supporting content owners with page and document updates.

  • Assistwith the creation and maintenance of mini hubs,documentlibraries and other tools that makeknowledgeresources easier to find and use.

  • Track and support periodic content reviews to help ensure Knowledge resources remainaccurateand up to date.

  • Assistcolleagues withlocatingrelevant knowledge resources and support internal research requests as needed.

  • Redact or sanitize sensitive information from internal documents and case workproductswhenrequired.

Learning programs and training operations

  • Maintain the firmwide training calendar and help coordinate firmwide learning programs from planning through delivery.

  • Schedule planning calls,check-insand dry runs; coordinate with presenters, attorneys, businessprofessionalsand administrative teams to keep training projects on track.

  • Support CLE and CPD coordination by gatheringallrequired information, trackingmaterialsand working with relevant internal contacts.

  • Run live training sessions by supporting presenters, managinglogistics,monitoringchat, recording sessions, and coordinating Zoom or Teams functionality as needed.

  • Edit,processand upload training recordings and materials totheLMSand related knowledge platforms.

  • Assistwith onboarding, certification programs, newly promoted attorney meetings, learningplansand recurring training series.

LearningManagementSystem(LMS)administration and reporting

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for LMSquestions, accessissuesand course administration.

  • Create,updateand circulate course links, learning plans and training communications as needed.

  • Track enrollment, completion,viewershipand other trainingactivities, andrunningreports for KML, AttorneyDevelopmentand other stakeholders.

  • Supportfor permissions management, security groups and restricted-access training content whererequired.

Communications,reportingand team operations

  • Prepare and distribute KML updates that highlight newknowledgeobjects, trainingresourcesand other relevant learning content.

  • SupportIntranetannouncements, Knowledgecontentupdates,Meetingcoordination, client alerttrackingand other cross-functional communications.

  • Maintain KML reporting trackers, including training participation, attorney involvement in KM and learning initiatives, page-viewreportingand related metrics.

  • Document KML team processes andprocedures andmaintainguidance resources for new joiners and ongoing team use.

  • Schedule recurring KML meetings, spotlights, refresher sessions and other team or stakeholder meetings asrequired.

Requirements

  • 2+yearsof administrative, knowledge management, learning and development, or related experience in a professional services or law firm environment preferred.

  • Experience usingMicrosoft 365, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,SharePointand Teams.

  • Experience with knowledge platforms, learning management systems, SharePoint sites,intranetsor similarcontent-managementtools preferred.

  • Comfortable working with data, trackers and reports, including training completion,viewershipand content-usage reporting.

  • Strong attention to detail,excellentorganizational skills,andconsistentfollow-through, with the ability to managecompetingdeadlines and priorities.

  • Strong written,verbal, and interpersonalskills,with a proactive approach to building trusted relationships and collaborating effectivelywith attorneys, businessprofessionalsand stakeholders atdifferent levels.

  • Ability to exercisesound judgment and discretionin compliance with our Firm's policieswhen handling sensitive internal documents, trainingrecordsand firm information.

  • Highly proactive,collaborativeand abilityto work independently whilemaintainingclear,transparentandtimelycommunication withstakeholders.

  • Interest in knowledge management, learning, legal operations, firmwide training and technology-enabled process improvement.

At the time of posting, the salary range for this role is US $65,700 - US $98,500. This range is based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus. The successful candidate's actual salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, training, skills, and market data.
